Extended Education Technology Series
Contributing to Transformation 2030
A major part of Transformation 2030, technology and digital literacy are cornerstones of our university’s future. Technology can elevate everything we do, in and out of the classroom. To improve our campus’s knowledge of emerging technologies, the IT Division has hosted Microsoft, Google and Gartner as part of our Extended Education Technology Series. Topics have included Cloud Data Engineering, Artificial intelligence, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and Machine Learning.
On October 18, 2019, representatives from IBM will be coming to campus to host two workshops: "Real Quantum Computing" and "IBM Watson to Implement AI Solutions."
In April 2019, Gartner's higher education expert gave a talk about how Blockchain is disrupting universities across the world.
Google Cloud Products
In January 2019, one of Google's cloud experts gave a three-day training on Google's Cloud Products for students, staff, and faculty.
